Young reporter HUANG,YI-XUAN reports at Nan-sing Junior High School
The third game of today's competition is the finals of the senior boys' group, between Li Jen High School(立仁高中) and Hsing hua High School(興華中學). Compared with the junior high school competition, high school students are even more different in terms of body shape, skills, and fighting spirit. At the beginning of the game, Li jen High School's offense was as fast as lightning, its defense was rock solid, its passing was accurate, and its shots were scored every time. Faced with such a powerful enemy, Hsing hua High School still fought unremittingly and never gave up. Although the competition score is gradually increasing, the leaders still dare not take it lightly, while the laggards are constantly catching up. After nearly an hour of fighting, Li jen High School finally emerged victorious and won the game.

Young and Old Unite, Transcending Self
Young and Old Unite, Transcending Self
On October 14, 112th year, the highly anticipated Chiayi City Elementary and
Junior High School Badminton Tournament took place at Sing Chia Elementary
School. The badminton team from Hsing Hwa High School secured a gold medal in
the junior high school boys' team event. This achievement marked a promising start
for the first-year members and a perfect conclusion for the third-year members.
Today, our reporter had the privilege of interviewing these seven young heroes of
different ages, ready to reveal their journey and the thrilling competition process.
As widely known, the badminton team competition follows a format of 5
matches with a 3-win system: three singles and two doubles matches, with the first
team to win three matches declared the winner. One of the third-year members
expressed that he felt the greatest pressure, being a senior in the third year. He
played in both singles and doubles, responsible for securing two points. Apart from
adjusting his own mindset, he had to strategize how to score at every moment of the
game, and if there was an error, he had to quickly regain composure. Living up to
expectations, he successfully secured two points for the team, truly a hero.
Additionally, the second-year players shared that upon realizing the strength of their
opponents, they felt nervous and even somewhat disheartened. However, when they
stepped onto the court, they realized their own capabilities were not to be
underestimated, and facing emotionally unstable opponents gave them the
opportunity for victory.
In the first four matches, Hsing Hwa High School and Pei Shin Public Junior
High School each won two points, making the last singles match the decisive factor.
The player responsible for the final match mentioned in the interview that he felt
considerable pressure, as losing this match would mean the entire badminton team
losing the team competition. This led to him not fully showcasing his true abilities in
the first game, resulting in a defeat. However, before the start of the second game,
he adjusted his mindset and entered with a determination to win, successfully
defeating his opponent in the next two games. The significance of this match goes
beyond deciding the final victory between the two schools; for this player, it added a
vibrant stroke to his badminton career.
In the end, Hsing Hwa High School narrowly defeated Pei Shin Public Junior
High School with a score of 3:2. All team members demonstrated the spirit of
teamwork and the virtue of never giving up. After the game, they conducted a
comprehensive review and prepared for improvement, hoping to continue achieving
good results in the next competition.
Hsing Hwa High School's badminton team is not a specialized sports class,
yet under limited resources, they managed to defeat the strong Pei Shin Public
Junior High School. This undoubtedly stands as a supreme honor for Hsing Hwa
High School's boys' badminton team.
With this, we conclude our report. Thank you for reading. Our reporter wishes
all the team members the courage to pursue their dreams in the future and to never
give up easily.

Let's Learn about Swimming Styles
Swimming is a fun but energy-consuming sport. There are four swimming styles, namely freestyle, breaststroke, backstroke, and butterfly stroke. When you do freestyle, cross your arms like paddles and splash water with legs moving alternatively. If you do breaststroke, your arms and legs take turns to move like frogs. Backstroke is like freestyle, but you turn your body upside down. Relatively speaking, it's the easiest one. Butterfly stroke is to flap the water like butterfly's wings with your arms. All in all, swimming is really fun. You must try all these styles.

A Swimming Coach
Being a swimming coach is like being a friend. He or she helps learners become super swimmers! A coach shows how to be a fish in the water and makes swimming feel like a game. A coach cheers for every tiny splash and celebrates when learners make movements on their own. A coach uses words like "kick" and "splash" to make swimming a big adventure. Being a swimming coach is all about laughing, learning, and having a splashing good time in the pool with friends.
